For Professionals

Supporting the families you serve — beyond the appointment.

FOR PROFESSIONALS

Your work happens in the appointment. Ours continues at home.

WellieWay helps families address the everyday conditions surrounding a child's health and well-being — the part that happens at home, between appointments.

Medical and therapeutic care matter. So does everything happening between appointments.

WHERE WELLIEWAY FITS

Families don't live in appointments.

They go home.

And that's where information, recommendations and good intentions meet real family life.

I help families connect the pieces that are often looked at separately and turn what they know into what they can actually live.

That's the gap WellieWay was built to fill.
THE WELLIEWAY PHILOSOPHY

Most approaches begin with symptoms. We begin with the conditions.

Conditions-First™ is the philosophy behind everything we do.

We help families look at the everyday conditions surrounding the child — including nourishment, fluids, rhythm, movement, environment, nervous system and daily patterns — and understand how those pieces work together in real life.

01 Connect the pieces.
02 Make it practical.
03 Build for real family life.
MORE THAN A SINGLE PROGRAM

WellieWay is built for families.

Conditions-First™ guides our parent education, children's resources, books and private family mentorship.

The goal is the same: help families better understand the everyday conditions surrounding their child's well-being — and what they can actually do with that information at home.

Different families may need different levels of support. WellieWay gives us more than one way to meet them there.

A CURRENT REFERRAL RESOURCE

Rootin' for Poopin'

Rootin' for Poopin' is WellieWay's private education and mentorship program for families navigating persistent childhood constipation and the patterns surrounding it.

Many families find us after they've already sought medical care and are still asking:

“Why are we STILL dealing with this?”

FAMILIES MAY COME TO US WITH

Constipation
Withholding
Accidents
Repeated cleanouts
Ongoing laxative management
Bathroom fear
Difficult toileting patterns

Often, these families have already tried multiple approaches and are looking for help understanding why the same patterns continue.

ALONGSIDE — NOT INSTEAD OF

We aren't here to replace a child's medical or therapeutic team.

WellieWay provides non-medical education, mentorship and practical family support. Families continue appropriate care with their licensed healthcare professionals.

Our role is different.

We help families work on the part that happens at home.
PROFESSIONAL CONNECTIONS

Good referrals shouldn't happen blindly.

I regularly connect with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, nurses, dietitians, educators, mental health professionals and other professionals looking for additional resources for the families they serve.

Whether you're looking for a resource for a specific family, exploring materials you may be able to share with the families you serve, or simply want to understand WellieWay better, I'd rather connect personally.

I want to understand the work you do — and give you the opportunity to understand mine.

If there appears to be natural alignment, we can talk about where WellieWay may fit and what resources may be most useful for the families you serve.
